ACCESS BY CAR TO THE SASSI DISTRICTS IS NOT ALLOWED EXCEPT FOR RESIDENTS.
We are in the heart of the Sassi, in the historic center of Matera, so in a pedestrian area. To avoid problems or fines, we recommend setting one of the parking points (all within a maximum 10-minute walk from the hotel) on your GPS, instead of the hotel's address.

How to Get There
From the Adriatic coast: take the Bologna-Taranto highway until the Bari Nord exit.
Follow the signs for Altamura-Matera, on the SS 99.
From the Tyrrhenian coast: Salerno-Reggio Calabria until the Sicignano exit, continue towards Potenza, and then towards Metaponto along the SS 407 Basentana until the signs for Matera.
Ferrandina Scalo Station (35 km from Matera), then FAL bus.
Bari Station (60 km from Matera) then FAL bus or train.
Bari-Palese Airport (60 km away from Matera).
